Roundabout is a community targeting the fashion industry's waste by promoting and teaching zero-waste strategies. This project illustrates the efforts of 5 brands by mapping their cautiously designed resourceful business models. The maps draw lings between their material sources, their production facilities, and their waste reuse, telling the story of their material journey. These data visualizations also pull from the center of each mapped location by narrating the historical and cultural significance of their material choices.

The maps are the culmination of conversations, research, and parametric data visualization. We admire this process of data to visuals because it is the link between the backend of meticulous brands to the frontend of aspiring designers.
